NGV as an Alternative Fuel

Talking about booming oil price will make me sick. No matter what, we still have to live on with it. NGV is said to be one of the remedy for alternative fuel. But after reading 'chedet blog' , it sound not so good investment to install those NGV equipment. So far the demand is high for it, but the facility just not up to that par to fulfill the needs. It was sadful to see, say for e.g 50% of vehicle population especially passanger cars equipped with this device, and temporarily the NGV price still cheap maybe last for 3-5 years , then after sometime govt opt to increase this NGV(especially when flip-flop PM still in power) ...telling people that NGV price has long time cheaper than regional asean market, high production cost or whutsoever silly reason and crap justification...the cost of installation is already high, and we must expect huge saving from it..if not there no strong reason to it , isnt it? yet we still have to face a lot of hassle to get it e.g long que, limited stations...etc etc ...sigh.

In fact, our local uni has developed and RND-ing CNG fuel, something similar to NGV i guess. It works , unfortunately research has become research..i just dont understand why it's not implemented afterwards. I admire a lot with Japan's, German's with their automotive developement, and even China. They are seeing future in doing thing, now in Japan's , there are investing a lot in fuel cell vehicle, when invest here means not just RND, but implementation. But Malaysia, the RND(we have very good local automotive expert) is there...just lack of implementation i guess. And when talking about implementation, it will involve those in administration. And again, with our current administration...no huge expectation can be made...sad story.
Just my 1 cents
